Has the packaging of this upcoming M4 MacBook Pro been leaked?

An unconfirmed packaging leak for the alleged M4 MacBook Pro has surfaced on social media, originally shared by user ShrimpApplePro. If the leak is authentic, it points to several possible changes to the base model MacBook Pro.

According to the leak, the base model M4 MacBook Pro will have 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The packaging also says that a 10-core CPU and a 10-core GPU represent a step up from the M3 chip's 8-core CPU.

Perhaps the most intriguing detail is the mention of three Thunderbolt 4 ports, an upgrade from the current M3 MacBook Pro's two ports. The packaging hints at a color change, with “SPB” (usually for Space Black) listed instead of the usual Space Gray.

The leak may look real, but it's good to have doubts. What's interesting is that it's a QR code for product information, which Apple started with the iPhone 16. However, there are some errors such as: B. References to “Apple ID” and “Apple Account” that lead to questions about authenticity.

On the other hand, the iPhone 16 specs still mention “Apple ID.”

As with all leaks, this information should be treated with caution. Apple has not revealed any official details about the M4 MacBook Pro and the specifications are subject to change.
