Scottsville man arrested for drunk driving in Wayne County – Finger Lakes Daily News

A Scottsville man was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office following a traffic stop on State Route 104 early Sunday morning.

Upon further investigation, officers discovered an open container of Bud Light on the passenger floor of the car driven by 58-year-old Rodney Spickerman. It is alleged that Spickerman was driving impaired after participating in field sobriety tests.

Spickerman was charged with driving under the influence, driving while impaired and driving with an open container.

Spickerman was released on a Huron Town Court appearance ticket.

The fact that a defendant is accused of a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
