“Diddy” is no longer under “suicide watch” after his arrest for alleged sex crimes.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is no longer under intensive surveillance at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, sources told Fox News Digital.

The fallen music mogul is “off suicide watch,” a source familiar with the situation told Fox News Digital.

More than a week ago, Combs, 54, was placed on routine suicide watch. An insider confirmed that this was “standard practice for high-ranking individuals as they are admitted to a federal facility and is not an indication of his mental state.”

Additionally, the source confirmed that “the family is visiting him in prison.” It is unclear which of his family members were present at the visit.

In a statement to Fox News Digital at the time, a Diddy spokesperson said: “Mr. Combs is strong, healthy and focused on his defense. He is committed to fighting this case and has full confidence in both his legal team and the truth.”

The Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn housed several high-profile inmates, including R. Kelly and Ghislaine Maxwell. In 2022 Kelly was placed on suicide watch in federal prison after being convicted of racketeering and sex trafficking.

Diddy was arrested on Monday, September 16, and charged the following day with conspiracy to commit racketeering, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation for the purpose of engaging in prostitution. The rapper pleaded not guilty hours after an indictment detailing his alleged sex crimes was unsealed.

If found guilty, he faces a minimum of 15 years in prison or a maximum sentence of life in prison.

The “I'll Be Missing You” singer was denied bail twice despite offering a $50 million bail package that included GPS monitoring of his home on Miami's Star Island. Diddy's team tried to show the judge that there was no flight risk through his communications with the U.S. Attorney's Office during the ongoing investigation.

In addition, Diddy handed over his passport to the lawyer on April 1st. His mother Janice and his children Chance, Jessie, D'Lila and Love Combs each surrendered their passports as part of the bail application.

The defense also suggested equity Diddy's residence on Star Island in Miami Beach, Florida, valued at $48,000,000, and the equity in his mother's home in Miami.

U.S. District Court Judge Andrew Carter cited the possibility that Diddy would tamper with witnesses in his reasoning for denying bail. The judge acknowledged that the prosecution had “proven by clear and convincing evidence that there is no condition or series of conditions” to ensure the safety of the community.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson noted Diddy's long history of intimidating his accusers and witnesses to his alleged abuses. Johnson claimed text messages showed Combs forcing his victims into sexual encounters, which he referred to as “freak offs.” The rapper is said to have recorded the sexual acts and then used the videos as a means of pressure for their silence.

Authorities alleged that Diddy ran a criminal enterprise through his companies, including Bad Boy Entertainment, Combs Enterprises and Combs Global. He used “guns, threats of violence, coercion, and verbal, emotional, physical and sexual abuse” to fulfill his sexual desires, according to the unsealed indictment obtained by Fox News Digital.

Diddy and his associates would “intimidate, threaten and lure female victims into Combs' environment, often under the guise of a romantic relationship. Combs is then alleged to have used violence, threats of violence and coercion to induce the victims to engage in extensive sexual acts Fluids to recover from physical exertion and drug use, the indictment states.

When authorities raided Diddy's home in March, authorities seized “Freak-off stocks” along with three AR-15s with obliterated serial numbers, court documents say.

Law enforcement officials also seized “many cases of lubricants and baby oil that Diddy's associates allegedly used to stock hotel rooms for the freak-offs, totaling more than 1,000 bottles,” Williams said at a news conference.
