Do Patti: Kriti Sanon plays a dual role opposite Kajol in the mystery thriller; Makers announce release date with exciting VIDEO

Just a few days back, Pinkvilla exclusively informed you that Kriti Sanon and Kajol starrer Do Patti is releasing in the last week of October. While fans were eagerly waiting for the release date, the makers released a special video to announce that the upcoming mystery thriller will release on October 25, 2024.

Today, September 30, Netflix India posted along with its cast members to release a promotional video. The short clip started with Kajol asking for a cappuccino while she spots Kriti Sanon in the cafe. Interestingly, in the film, Kajol plays a police officer and the Mimi actress plays a femme fatale who was surprised to see her.

When Kriti tries to avoid her, Kajol points her gun at her and inquires where she was between 2 and 3 pm yesterday. In her reply, the Crew actress reveals that she was at the gym, but Kajol, who continues her interrogation, reminds her of Paps' He photographed her outside a salon at 2:30 p.m

Finally, Kajol, in her confident cop tone, orders her to reveal the 'secret' behind which Kriti reveals the film's release date, October 25, 2024. Furthermore, she further hints that Kajol's problems would be doubled as the Adipurush actress plays a dual role in the film.

Shortly after the post was shared, fans flocked to the comments section. One fan wrote: “Yeh kahani, interesting hogi!”, another fan commented: “I love the cast, can't wait for what's to come”, while a third fan commented: “Keep going!!!! Do the drama,” another fan wrote, “Finally.”

Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, the film is a first production of Kanika Dhillon's Kathha Pictures and Kriti Sanon's Blue Butterfly Films.

According to the teaser of 'Do Patti' released earlier this year, Kajol will be essaying the role of a police officer for the first time in her career, while Kriti will be turning into a femme fatale. Furthermore, the film will also star Shaheer Sheikh in the lead role.
