Motorcyclist Seriously Injured After Reckless Driving Leads to Crash: PSLPD

A man riding a motorcycle recklessly suffered serious injuries and had to be airlifted to a hospital after colliding with a car, Port St. Lucie police said.

The Port St. Lucie Police Department said it responded to Southwest Bayshore Boulevard and Southwest Holden Terrace near the Bayshore Tire and Service Center around 7 p.m. Sunday for a crash between a motorcycle and a car.

During their initial investigation, investigators learned that the man driving the motorcycle was driving recklessly and rear-ended a car.

PSLPD said the accident resulted in serious injuries to the motorcyclist and he was airlifted to Lawnwood Hospital.
