Luke Bryan Releases Eighth Studio Album “Mind of A Country Boy” and More – September 27, 2024 – Celeb Secrets

It's always a good day Luke Bryan releases new music. His latest project, Ghost of a country boyis officially here and full of hymns and ballads. It's at the top of our list of new country songs coming out this week Friday with new music today (September 27th).

“I was able to take the time and really put songs together for this album. If it’s a song I recorded two or three years ago and I still love it and it still sounds fresh, then I feel like it will stand the test of time.”

He continued: “I think that this album, like I've tried to do with all my albums, just has a little bit of everything. I'm doing some things differently vocally on this piece that I haven't done before. It's about every song having its place and meaning. It's about not making the songs too superfluous. I think that’s why I’ve been lucky enough to have a long career and that’s why I think this album will make a difference.”

Luke isn't the only one who released a new full-length project today. Billy Strings released Highway Prayers, Cody Jinks dropped Back of 30, Logan Crosby released 2019 while Mickey Guyton published their project House on fire.

Brett Eldredge also honored us with his third holiday album, Merry Christmas (Welcome to the family), and it's a compilation of eight original Christmas songs, available now on his first and very own label, Warm and Cozy Records. Earlier this week, he released the first single for the project, “Sweet December.” Kelly Clarkson.

He says of the collaboration: “After singing 'Under the Mistletoe' together, I knew there was no one else in the world I wanted to sing this song with. Kelly's voice has that soulful, retro feel. I’ve never done a Christmas song in this style and I really love it.”
