Three people arrested for drug possession during a traffic stop

Three people were arrested on drug charges during a traffic stop in Manitowoc over the weekend.

An officer spotted a person known to have an active warrant for his arrest in a vehicle driving on Waldo Boulevard shortly after 5:00 p.m. Saturday evening (Sept. 28).Th).

The vehicle was stopped at the intersection of North 10Th Street, and the 41-year-old woman was arrested.

It was discovered that another woman in the car had an active warrant and was in possession of THC vapor.

She was also said to have shown signs of drug use.

Bags of marijuana and some white crystalline residue were also found in a man's car, along with some drug paraphernalia.

A search of the first woman's handbag uncovered another bag with white residue and some pills.

She was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and two counts of felony bail jumping, while the second woman was arrested on charges of possession of THC and felony bail jumping.

The man was charged with possession of THC, a Schedule II drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
