Ludacris drinks water from around the world after viral Alaska glacier video

Ludacris drinks water from different area codes.

After sparking concerns among fans in August with a viral video of him drinking fresh, unpurified Alaskan glacier water, the 47-year-old rapper took to Instagram on September 28 to showcase a collection of water he want to drink in different places around the world.

“Let me tell you all something. Do you all think this whole glacier water adventure is over? Ha! for comparison,” said Luda, showing bottles of water from Iceland, Ecuador, Hawaii, Italy, Australia, Canada and of course Alaska.

“I won't stop until I'm the most hydrated mom in the world,” the “What's Your Fantasy” actor added. “It's not a game. You think it's a game? Ha! It’s never a game!”

“The water quest continues,” Ludacris wrote in the post’s caption. “Have you tried all of these yet??”

When the Grammy winner was in Alaska for a performance at the state fair last month, he shared an Instagram video of himself descending a glacier and drinking fresh water.

“Listen, man, half the glaciers in the world are here in Alaska, I couldn't come here and just put on a show,” he said Fast and Furious Star began. “I’ve never tasted fresh glacier water in my life and this is the first time.”

“Oh my god,” Ludacris responded to the taste.

“Water 💧 So good it tastes like GOD created it. Well because he did 🙏🏾 ❄️,” he captioned the video, which worried some fans since he hadn't filtered or treated the water to kill parasites, bacteria and viruses before drinking it.

The National Park Service (NPS) advises the public: “Never drink water from a natural source that you have not purified, even if the water appears clean. Water in a stream, river, or lake may look clean, but it can still be full of bacteria, viruses, and parasites that can lead to waterborne diseases such as cryptosporidiosis or giardiasis. It is important that you purify natural water.

Ludacris later addressed fans' concerns in a video, but did not mention the risks associated with drinking untreated water. “For anyone who asks me what that glacier water really tasted like…If I tell you I'm a water snob, it was the best tasting water I've ever drunk in my life,” he said. “And when I drank it, I felt as if every cell in my human body was being hydrated and rejuvenated at the same time.”

“After that, having the greatest show in Alaska… Listen, man, I’m here. I feel like Superman,” the “My Chick Bad” artist added. “There are different ways of living… I'm just trying to take you places, show you things, meet people.”
