Columbia woman killed in Pettis County crash

SEDALIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

According to an accident report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 64-year-old Columbia woman was killed in a car accident Monday evening in Pettis County.

According to the report, the accident occurred when a 2023 Nissan Rogue – driven by Pamela Holbrook – was traveling south on Walnut Grove Road north of Eckles Road, crossed the center line and left the left side of the road.

The rear of the Nissan struck a bridge pillar and rested on its side on the road, the report said. Holbrook was pronounced dead at the scene by the Pettis County coroner.

The report states that it is unknown whether Holbrook was wearing a seatbelt. According to the report, her body was taken to Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.

The vehicle was totaled.
