Delta announces new nonstop flights from Austin

Delta is now the second largest airline at Austin Airport.

AUSTIN, Texas – Delta is now the second-largest airline at Austin Airport.

This follows the launch of five new non-stop routes starting this spring. The airline announces it is launching new nonstop flights to Panama City, Florida. Tampa, Fla.; San Francisco and Indianapolis. Delta also plans to resume nonstop service to Memphis.

Flights operate once a day, seven days a week.

“Delta’s decision to expand its service in Austin is a testament to our city’s thriving economy and vibrant community,” said Austin City Manager TC Broadnax. “These five new flights will not only improve connectivity for our residents and businesses, but also contribute to Austin’s reputation as a premier destination for travel and commerce. We are excited to welcome Delta’s continued investment in Austin.”

The Panama City, Indianapolis and Memphis routes are served by Delta Connection airline SkyWest's Embraer 175 fleet, while the San Francisco and Tampa routes are served by Airbus 220-300s.
