'GOAT' Box Office: Vijay's film ends 25-day run at Rs 460 Crore | Tamil Movie News

“The Greatest Of All Time”, also known as “GOAT”, a highly anticipated film, has achieved impressive box office results since its release, capturing the attention of audiences and generating significant revenue. While it continues to run in theaters, its earnings reflect the film's popularity and the strong connection it has built with viewers. The success of GOAT is due to its compelling storyline, talented cast and effective marketing. On September 29th, the film celebrated its 25th day in theaters with a new promo release. After this period, “GOAT” grossed approx 460 Crore Rupees worldwide, according to Cinetrak.
Domestic revenue is estimated at around Rs 305 billion, with Tamil Nadu being the largest contributor at nearly Rs 220 billion. Kerala and Karnataka contributed around Rs 30 crore each, while the film earned less in Telugu states. Internationally, 'GOAT' earned around Rs 165 crore and performed well in various overseas markets including North America, UK, Malaysia, Singapore and Sri Lanka.
However, it seems that GOAT may not reach the milestone of becoming Vijay's second film to gross Rs 500 crore as it has lost a significant number of theaters. After a strong opening week of around Rs 270 crore, revenue fell to less than Rs 200 crore in the following two weeks.
Directed by Venkat Prabhu, GOAT stars Vijay in a dual role alongside Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal, Sneha, Jayaram, Mohan, Vaibhav, Yogi Babu and Premgi Amaren in pivotal roles. The film's music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the cinematography and editing are by Siddharth Nuni and Venkat Raajen respectively.
