Frankie Valli addresses health concerns after viral performance videos

Frankie Valli raised concerns about his health after videos of his recent performances went viral online.

Last month, footage began circulating on TikTok that showed The Four Seasons frontman appearing to be behind on choreography and lip-syncing during performances.

Fans questioned whether Valli was “exhausted” or needed to be “checked out,” but in a statement released to People on Monday, the music icon insisted he was fine.

“I know there's been a lot of talk about me on the internet lately, so I wanted to clear things up,” he began. “I'm blessed to be 90 years old and still doing what I love to do, and as long as I'm able and the audience wants to see me, I'll be out there performing like I always do. I love what I absolutely love.” I do. And I know we put on a great show because our fans still come out in numbers and the show still rocks.”

Valli further argued that he receives a lot of support from his band.

“The Four Seasons sound has always been about layering vocals and instruments. We use our 60 years of experience to make us sound like the records. I sing, I have singers who sing, great arrangements… everything. I have to smile at the comments.” I wonder if someone is forcing me to go on stage. “No one has ever forced me to do anything I didn’t want to do,” the 90-year-old continued.

Concluding his message, Valli claimed that he plans to continue touring. The Walk Like a Man hitmaker currently has dates planned until April 2025.

“Like that line in the (musical) Jersey Boys, I’m like that bunny on TV that just keeps going and going and going. Chasing the music,” he added.

Valli's comments come days after he posed for a selfie with Lenny Kravitz during a chance encounter at an airport.

“Just met the legendary Frankie Valli at the airport. Nothing but respect for you, sir. Endless hits and still touring even though he's 90 years young. Love!” the rocker captioned the snap.
