Jackie Chan is Jackie Chan in Well Go USA's new stunt epic action comedy PANDA PLAN! – ACTION-FLIX.COM

Action and martial arts icon Jackie Chan is back playing…well…himself in a new action comedy starring an adorable panda. Titled Panda planPlaying a fictionalized version of himself, Chan plays a legendary kung fu star (a big deal, right?) who must fight ruthless mercenaries who want to kidnap a rare panda. Filled with Chan's signature action design and on-screen slapstick comedy, this film is designed to delight everyone in the family. Check out the new trailer and key visuals below!

Official summary: Shortly after legendary kung fu star Jackie Chan is invited to adopt a popular zoo panda named Hu Hu, a notorious international crime syndicate sets their sights on the bear and offers a huge bounty for his capture. Faced with this sudden crisis, Jackie enlists the help of his agent and Hu Hu's extremely dedicated caretaker and leads the trio on a outrageous and unforgettable adventure as they attempt to outwit – and outwit – the villains at every turn.

The highlight is hilarious cute panda humor, slapstick Chan-style action, and jaw-dropping set pieces that only the action icon can deliver. I'm more of a fan of serious Jackie in films these days, but it's hard to say no to Jackie, even when he's making fun of himself. Chan is of course no stranger to starring alongside cute animals and children, two things you should never play with by the way, so this seems like a great film to watch with my daughter, since she can enjoy this sweet panda, and I can enjoy watching Jackie do Jackie things.

Zhang Luan directs with supporting cast including Hu Hu, Wei Xiang, Shi Ce, Han Yanbo and Jia Bing. The film will have a limited release in theaters starting October 18th, with a home video and digital release following shortly thereafter.
