Fatal crash blocks section of I-4 in Orange County – WFTV

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting a fatal crash on Interstate 4 in Orange County.

According to FHP's website, the accident causes a road closure in the westbound lanes of I-4 near mile marker 72.

Police responded to the section east of State Road 528 at 12:20 a.m.

As of 4 a.m., a Florida Department of Transportation camera showed police and what appeared to be a tow truck at the scene.

WFTV has reached out to FHP for more details on the deadly crash.

Channel 9 anchor Alexa Lorenzo is monitoring area traffic and will broadcast live updates on Eyewitness News beginning at 4:30 p.m.
