Man pleads guilty to killing four-year-old Euclid

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – A man charged in the death of a four-year-old Euclid boy pleaded guilty Monday in Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas.

Devin Hall pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and child endangerment for the May 2022 death of Musiah Wadud.

Euclid police said Hall and Dyneshia Anderson cared for the victim and his younger brother after their mother lost custody of them due to mental health issues.

Anderson is the victim's aunt and Hall was her boyfriend.

Officers responded to the Parkside Gardens apartment complex in the 1400 block of East 260th St. on May 5, 2022 for an unresponsive child.

Wadud was pronounced dead at a local hospital later that day, police said.

A Cuyahoga County prosecutor said the little boy had over 100 marks on his body; including skull fractures, ligature marks in various stages of healing, numerous bruises and cuts.

Prosecutors also said Wadud and his younger brother endured eight months of torture and abuse that ultimately led to the child's early death.

Hall is scheduled to be sentenced on October 22nd.

Anderson has a court hearing on October 1st. She is charged with aggravated murder, aggravated assault and child endangerment.
