Man suffers welts and swollen finger in drive-by paintball attack Friday night

A man was attacked in a drive-by paintball attack on his way home from work in Montgomery Township on Monday night and police are asking anyone with information or video to come forward.

According to police, the man was crossing the Route 63/Welsh Road intersection southbound at North Wales Road in the Montgomery Township section of the intersection at 9:14 p.m. Friday

Suddenly he was hit twice with paintballs – one hit him in the hand and a second hit him in the groin, police said.

The victim refused medical attention, police said, and the incident was reported to police about 20 minutes later.

There is no description of the suspect vehicle, police said.

According to the victim's mother via Facebook, her son suffered welts and a swollen finger.
