The agency launches the mortgage brokerage Aclara Lending

The national brokerage is launching in Southern California and was created through a partnership with mortgage servicer Barrett Financial Group, the Inman agency announced.

Luxury real estate company The Agency has expanded its mortgage offerings with the launch of its first nationwide mortgage brokerage through a partnership with mortgage servicer Barrett Financial Group, the company has announced to Inman.

The new mortgage company is called Aclara Lending and will give the agency's customers access to mortgage services in 49 states.

Aclara Lending specializes in financing home purchases and offers a range of mortgage products from approximately 140 wholesale lenders, including traditional loans, jumbo, super jumbo and non-QM (non-qualified mortgages) products.

The new partnership will also provide mortgage education opportunities for real estate agents, such as updates on industry news and rates, as well as new products.

The mortgage provider's technology includes an automated one-click underwriting system that allows lenders to quickly compare Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Product Advisor (LPA) side-by-side for an efficient underwriting process that helps loan officers helps choose the best solution for customers.

The Company's Doc-Less technology also enables instant verification of income and assets, and a single credit pull option allows pre-qualification for a mortgage with a soft credit check from one or more credit reporting agencies, thereby delaying credit inquiries. Additionally, each lending partner has a dedicated Aclara Lending account manager who helps provide tailored solutions and fast pricing to each customer.

The new mortgage company is launching in Southern California and plans to expand nationwide in the near future.

In addition to home buying and selling services and mortgage loans, the agency also offers its customers moving, escrow, inspection, insurance, warranty and other services by working with various providers.

The agency first launched mortgage and other ancillary services in late 2022 through a partnership with CrossCountry Mortgage and other providers including Choice Home Warranty and home inspection company Pillar to Post. The partnership with CrossCountry Mortgage has come to an end after the company launched its new partnership with Barrett Financial Group.

The agency currently has around 120 offices in 12 countries.
