70-year-old man seriously injured in motorcycle accident on Saturday

Doniphan, MO. – A 70-year-old Doniphan man was seriously injured last Saturday when he drove off the road while riding a motorcycle.

This accident report was prepared by Trooper Johnson of Troop E, Missouri State Highway Patrol. The driver in this accident was identified as Richard Unruh, a 70-year-old man from Mountain View. The accident occurred when the driver left the road to the right and rolled over.

The report goes on to say that Unruh was not wearing safety equipment during the accident and suffered serious injuries.

Unruh was taken to Memphis, TN. transported by rescue aircraft for further treatment.
