Frankie Valli is responding to widespread concern over a video of a recent performance circulating on social media The four seasons.

Clips posted on TikTok show Valli messing up the choreography on “December 1963 (Oh What a Night)” and missing some lyrics on “Bye, Bye, Baby (Baby, Goodbye),” leading to speculation that he is lip-syncing, which fans suggest he looked “exhausted” and said he “needs to rest.”

But in an explanation about it Peoplesays 90-year-old Valli, there is no reason to worry.

“I know there's been a lot of stuff about me on the internet lately, so I wanted to set the record straight,” he told the magazine. “I'm blessed to be 90 years old and still doing what I love to do, and as long as I'm able and the audience wants to see me, I'll be out there performing.”

He adds: “I absolutely love what I do. And I know we put on a great show because our fans still come out in droves and the show still rocks.”

Valli went on to explain that his show with The Four Seasons is all about “layering vocals and instruments,” seemingly explaining why it seemed like he missed some lyrics.

He notes: “I have to laugh when I ask in the comments if anyone is forcing me to go on stage. No one has ever forced me to do anything I didn’t want to do.”

Valli, whose tour dates are booked until April, adds: “I plan on doing shows and delivering the great Four Seasons sound for as long as possible. Like this line Jersey boysI'm like the rabbit on TV that always runs and runs and runs. Chasing the music.”
