Former NFL running back Eddie Lacy was arrested in Scottsdale for drunk driving

Scottsdale police said Eddie Lacy was arrested following a traffic stop.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Former NFL running back Eddie Lacy was arrested Monday in Scottsdale for alleged drunken driving, police said.

The football player was pulled over for a traffic stop near Scottsdale and Bell streets after police received a report of a possible impaired driver in the area.

After a police investigation, Lacy was taken into custody for alleged drunken driving and possession of an open container in a vehicle, police said.

Lacy, 34, had played for the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers during his NFL career.
