Drug investigation leads to numerous charges against Dover man

LINCOLN, Del. – A Dover man is behind bars after executing a search warrant in Lincoln last week.

Last week, law enforcement executed a search warrant at a home in the 8000 block of Greentop Road following an investigation into the distribution of illegal narcotics at the property. Investigators reportedly arrested 12 people at the property, including 44-year-old Antonio Young, who was the subject of this investigation.

During a search of the property and vehicles, police located approximately .756 grams of heroin, approximately 15.72 grams of crack cocaine, 12-gauge shotgun ammunition, digital scales, drug paraphernalia and over $450 in suspected drug money.

According to police, four of the 12 people were arrested on misdemeanor and capias warrants, while the others were released without incident.

Young was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in a Level 2 quantity, possession of a firearm or ammunition by a prohibited person, three counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance in charged with Tier 1 Quantity and Tier 2 Quantity, Second Degree Conspiracy and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was being held at SCI on a $45,000 cash bond.
