Is NBA legend Shaq coming to Fortnite? Leaks Show Skins, Accessories and a Possible DJ Diesel Appearance – Tencent Holdings (OTC:TCEHY), Walt Disney (NYSE:DIS)

Shaquille O'Neal could be the newest legend to join FortniteThis puts the NBA star on a par with film characters and superheroes.

What happened: Internet leaks predict that O'Neal (aka Shaq) could get the Fortnite Icon series treatment in the popular online video game with the possibility of skins and accessories on Saturday, October 4th.

Leakers like ShiinaBR have pointed to Fortnite data files showing upcoming skins and themes based on O'Neal and movie characters Billy from the Saw series and Leatherface from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series.

One of the National Basketball Association's most famous players of all time, O'Neal has earned a long list of nicknames over the years. In addition to “Shaq,” there could be several variations of O'Neal in the game, including Diesel, Shaq Fu, Superman and DJ Diesel, his musical persona.

O'Neal, who performed as DJ Diesel, may have hinted at a collaboration with Fortnite by sharing a video at a concert that showed a potential virtual version of himself in the game.

O'Neal also captioned a TikTok video of his performance, “Toronto…last night was EPIC,” mentioning EPIC in all caps as a possible reference epic games, along with a winking face emoji.

O'Neal's collaboration with Fortnite could include skins, accessories, sound clips and a possible musical appearance as DJ Diesel, Game Rant reports.

Epic Games and O'Neal haven't confirmed anything yet, leaving it up to players to decipher the leaks and clues from the former NBA stars' social media posts.
