Davante Adams wants to leave Las Vegas.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Raiders wide receiver has told the organization that he would prefer to be traded.

While a deal doesn't appear to be imminent, the news comes amid growing speculation that Adams' time in Sin City would come to an end sooner rather than later and hours after he gave a noncommittal answer when asked if he would never A raider should downplay another.

“All I can control is this conversation we’re having here. And when we're done with this, the only thing I can control is what I do next,” Adams said during an interview on “Up & Adams with Kay Adams.”

In the last 24 hours, discussion of a possible Adams move appeared to intensify after a screenshot circulated on social media that appeared to show Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce liking a post on Instagram, which indicated that the receiver may have been swapped.

Additionally, a Las Vegas Review-Journal report published Tuesday quoted a league source saying the Raiders were open to the idea of ​​trading Adams and that the relationship between the Raiders coach and the star wide receiver is improving have worsened over time.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Vegas would “consider” a trade package that included a second-round pick and additional compensation.

During Tuesday morning's interview, Adams said in reference to the Instagram post that he hadn't heard from his head coach and “didn't really know exactly what it was about.”

As Rodgers' teammate in Green Bay, Adams had 669 catches, 8,121 yards and 73 touchdowns.

This season with the Raiders, Adams has 18 catches for 209 yards and one touchdown.

He missed last Sunday's game against the Browns after missing practice on Thursday with a hamstring injury.
