Six days after the attack, Hubert-Ross had a previously scheduled audition for a “very well-known television show,” the lawsuit says.

She went to the audition but was covered in bruises and suffering from the psychological trauma of the attack — and wasn't offered the role, the lawsuit continues.

Photos attached to the court documents show Hubert-Ross with extensive bruises and scratches.

According to the lawsuit, Lane attacked Hubert-Ross in a jealous rage that erupted after the two met earlier that evening at O'Hanlon's Bar on E. 14th St. with another friend with whom Hubert-Ross had a “romantic relationship.” Encounter” had years before.

Later that night, Lane also admitted to sending “intimate” text messages to his ex-girlfriend while agreeing to date Hubert-Ross “exclusively,” the lawsuit says.

After his infidelity was discovered, Lane yelled profanities at Hubert-Ross and then “forcibly threw her into an oven” before dragging her into the bathroom and throwing her into the bathtub, the lawsuit says.

Lane ignored Hubert-Ross's pleas for them to just break up and for him to stop hurting her more, instead replying, “You're fucking ruining everything,” court records say.

During the brutal attack, Hubert-Ross managed to call her mother, who called her on speakerphone and witnessed the sickening abuse, the lawsuit says.

The comedian also texted a friend who called the police. Responding officers then arrested Lane, the lawsuit says.

At Lane's arraignment hours later, the Manhattan District Attorney's Office believed the case had merit and that the attack was extremely violent, a law enforcement source said.

Prosecutors asked a judge to set bail at $20,000 cash or bond at $60,000. But Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Valentina Morales ordered Lane's release while also issuing a protective order.

Lane is due back in court on November 20.

His attorney in the criminal case did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment, and it was unclear Tuesday who is representing him in the civil case.

Hubert-Ross' lawyer Brett Gallaway said in a statement that Lane “will now be forced to answer for his crimes,” adding: “We look forward to ensuring he pays for his cowardly actions.” .”
