Wallingford woman arrested as part of prostitution investigation

WALLINGFORD, CT (WFSB) – A woman was arrested Tuesday as part of a prostitution investigation in Wallingford.

The Wallingford Police Community Impact Unit began the investigation after receiving multiple reports of prostitution in the area.

Authorities identified Erica Waller, 41, of Wallingford, as a suspect who agreed to perform sexual acts in exchange for money.

The complaints centered on a prostitution ring operating out of 333 South Elm Street.

Waller reportedly used a website to offer potential clients a “menu” of sexual services.

Undercover agents contacted Waller through the website and arranged a meeting that led to her arrest.

She is accused of prostitution and was released on a promise to appear in court.

Waller's court date is scheduled for October 15, 2024 in Meriden.
