Israel-Iran war news: Disturbing cockpit video shows Iranian missiles flying over Middle East | Viral videos

The skies over Israel were lit as Iran fired a massive barrage of at least 180 rockets late Tuesday evening, escalating the ongoing conflict between the two countries.

A shocking video from the cockpit of a British Airways flight shows Iranian missiles being fired, the New York Post reported

According to NYP, the pilot captured the footage on a flight to Dubai on Tuesday evening. The video clearly shows a series of ballistic missiles heading towards Israel. However, Mint cannot confirm the authenticity of the video.

Fortunately, all of the missiles passed safely over the aircraft.

Videos show hundreds of rockets over Israeli cities

Videos shared on social media showed missiles flying across the skies of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, with some successfully evading Israel's robust Iron Dome air defense system. Numerous videos showed debris from intercepted missiles landing in various Israeli cities.

There was no independent assessment of the damage from the rocket attacks. While both Israel and the US reported that the impact was limited, Iranian state television, citing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, claimed that 90% of the missiles hit strategic targets in Israel. Videos of the incoming attacks suggested some bypassed the country's advanced air defense systems.

“Iran made a big mistake tonight and it will pay for it,” Netanyahu said at the start of a security cabinet meeting. “The regime in Iran does not understand our determination to defend ourselves.

Tuesday's rocket attack was in response to Israel's recent attacks in Lebanon, which included a major airstrike that killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and the deployment of ground troops across the border.

US President Joe Biden reiterated his strong support for Israel and called the Iranian attack “ineffective.” Vice President Kamala Harris echoed this sentiment, saying the US would not hesitate to protect its interests against Iran.

“We will take action. “Iran will soon face the consequences of its actions and the response will be harsh,” Israel’s U.N. Ambassador Danny Danon told reporters.
