Taco Bell announces dollar tacos for National Taco Day

The fast food chain is offering $1 tacos every hour on Tuesday, October 1, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

UNITED STATES – This October will bring new meaning to “Taco Tuesday.”

After celebrating October 4th every year, Taco Bell has partnered with the National Day Calendar to move National Taco Day to the first Tuesday in October. This means that this year the holiday falls on Tuesday, October 1st.

“For years we have celebrated National Taco Day on October 4th, but we always felt there was a greater opportunity to align it with something even more special – Taco Tuesday,” said Marlo Anderson, founder of the National Day Calendar, in a press release. “Thanks to Taco Bell’s efforts, we are excited to officially move National Taco Day to the first Tuesday in October, creating the most Taco Tuesday of all Taco Tuesdays.”

To celebrate, Taco Bell has announced it will be selling $1 tacos every hour on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tacos sold at any hour include:

– 11 a.m. – Double Stacked Taco

– 12pm – Chalupa Supreme

– 1:00 p.m. – Nacho Cheese Doritos® Locos Tacos

– 2:00 p.m. – Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco

– 3:00 p.m. – Cantina Chicken Soft Taco

– 4:00 p.m. – Soft Taco Supreme

– 5 p.m. – Cheesy Gordita Crunch

– 6:00 p.m. – Crunchy Taco Supreme

Taco Bell will sell 10,000 tacos every hour.

In addition to National Taco Day, Taco Bell is offering exclusive offers throughout October, including a VIP tour of its test kitchen and offering 500 Rewards members free tacos, dollar favorites and exclusive merchandise every Tuesday for a year.
