She appeared in Campbelltown Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning alongside supporters and her lawyer Abbas Soukie.

Mr Soukie told the court that despite repeated attempts to contact the officer in charge of the investigation, the evidence had not yet been provided to him.

The court was told that the Director of Public Prosecutions received the brief at the end of last month but it did not meet the requirements.

Judge Rana Daher ordered that the defense briefs be served by October 29 and that the matter be returned to court the following day.
