IV Crown Showdown Campaign Reveals Battle Map for Riyadh Season

Saudi Arabia-based creative agency BigTime Creative Shop, in collaboration with Truffle Films, has put together a four-minute cinematic showdown titled IV Crown Showdown with Salomon Ligthelm in the director's chair to promote an exciting fight card unveiled by His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi (GEA).

The main event of the fight card is the highly anticipated bout between light heavyweight champions Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol, both of whom are currently undefeated in their respective careers.

To promote the fight, the teams at BigTime Creative Shop and Truffle Films have taken a path of epic, cinematic visual storytelling to reflect the enormity of the fight, which takes place on October 12th at Kingdom Arena and is part of the grand opening ceremony for the events calendar of the next Riyadh season.

The IV Crown Showdown The promotional film is a metaphorical journey of the two boxers and shows everything they had to endure to reach the pinnacle of the sport, depicted as a massive mountain. The mystical IV crown they seek in the promotional film represents the four title belts at stake in their real-life boxing showdown.

Set in an ancient and warlike time, the two mighty warriors Beterbiev and Bivol command their respective armies in the treacherous search for a mystical crown. The crown they desire holds immense power and is the ultimate prize, resting atop a foreboding mountain.

As the men embark on their own perilous journeys, dressed and armed to the teeth, they battle the savage armies and even savage beasts that stand between them and their prey. As they advance, their armies fall until only the two warriors remain. Finally, at the top of the mountain, there is an electrifying showdown for the crown.

Campaign rollout

The campaign was launched across all social media platforms and supported with digital and outdoor banners, particularly in Riyadh where the boxing event will take place. The promotion runs until October 12th.

BigTime Creative Shop and Riyadh Season's IV Crown Showdown campaign combined CGI and choreographed live-action sequences to create a visual spectacle.

Ligthelm, who led the production, is an award-winning commercial and short film director who has also directed music videos for superstars such as Justin Bieber, Giveon, Skrillex and The Weeknd, to name a few.
