Diddy Accused by 120 Victims, Including 'People We All Know': Law Firm

Update: 10/01/24 4:17 p.m. ET — Diddy is now accused of sexual assault and sex trafficking by 120 victims.

lawyer Tony Buzbee said during a press conference on Tuesday, October 1st that his law firm, Buzbee Law Firm and AVA Law Group, has a group of 60 men and 60 women who claim to have been victims of Diddy, dating back to dates back to the early 90s.

According to CNN, 25 of the people were minors at the time of the alleged incident Elizabeth Wagmeister. The companies were contacted by more than 3,000 people. No lawsuits have been filed yet.

While the identities of the victims were not revealed, Buzbee shared that some of the names will come as a “shock” because, according to Wagmeister, they are “people we all know.”

Diddy's lawyer Erica Wolff shared a statement with Us Weekly regarding Buzbee's comments.

“He cannot address every unfounded accusation that has become a reckless media circus,” the message said. “Nevertheless, Mr. Combs strongly and categorically denies as false and defamatory any allegation that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.”

A Texas law firm is set to represent more than 50 alleged victims with sexual assault and abuse claims Sean “Diddy” Combs.

“Buzbee Law Firm has been retained by Ava Law Group to serve as lead counsel in pursuing claims on behalf of more than fifty individuals who suffered sexual assault and abuse at the hands of Sean 'Diddy' Combs and his colleagues,” the said Attorney Tony Buzbee began with a lengthy statement posted to Instagram on Thursday, September 26th.

Buzbee, 55, noted that the “courageous group of individuals includes both men and women,” many of whom were minors at the time of the alleged abuse. He also explained that some of the people reported the incidents to the police, but others did not.

He continued: “Every single story is heartbreaking and heartbreaking. The alleged acts took place in hotels, private homes and also at P. Diddy's infamous “Freak Off” parties. The violations committed against this group of people are incomprehensible and can only be described as debauchery and depravity perpetrated by those in power against minors and the weak.”

Buzbee, who has not yet filed a formal lawsuit on behalf of the alleged victims, added that he expects the group “to grow as this case progresses” and that “many other people will be involved” before he announces his plans for one press conference next week detailed where “some of these stories can be told as that [nation] learn more and grapple with the potential extent of this scandal.”

Buzbee's move to represent the more than 50 people with allegations against Diddy, 54, is one of the latest developments in the disgraced music mogul's legal battles.

In documents filed on Friday, September 27, an anonymous woman is said to have sued Diddy, claiming he repeatedly assaulted her over a four-year period after they met in 2020. The woman, listed as Jane Doe, also claimed she became pregnant but suffered a miscarriage after one of the alleged assaults, according to TMZ.

The woman's lawsuit comes as Diddy faces a host of legal problems. The “Bad Boy for Life” rapper is currently in prison at the Metropolitan Detention Center after being charged with racketeering, forcible sex trafficking, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

In the 14-page, unsealed indictment, prosecutors alleged that he “abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his behavior.” Some of the allegations in the indictment date back to 2009.

The indictment also alleged that Diddy “engaged in a sustained and pervasive pattern of abuse of women and other individuals” and that “this abuse was, at times, verbal, emotional, physical and sexual in nature.”

Diddy denied all allegations against him and pleaded not guilty before being denied bail twice as prosecutors argued that the rapper should be held without bail pending the outcome of the trial.

“We are disappointed by the decision to pursue what we believe to be an unjustified prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney said Marc Agnifilo told Us in a statement following his arrest. “Sean 'Diddy' Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, idolizing his children and working to strengthen the black community.”

He added: “He is an imperfect human being but he is not a criminal. To Mr. Combs's credit, he has been extremely cooperative in this investigation and voluntarily moved to New York last week in anticipation of this indictment. Please reserve judgment until you have all the facts. These are the actions of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
