GTA 6 leaked gameplay screenshot is driving fans crazy

Was it real?

A leaked one GTA VI The gameplay screenshot has sent Grand Theft Auto fans into a frenzy on social media.

It's no secret that the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series will be a huge deal when it finally releases, as evidenced by the huge reception it received when Rockstar Games released the first installment GTA VI Trailer in December 2023.

Check out the GTA VI trailer below!

However, that is still about a year away GTA VI The trailer made its debut and fans of the series are wondering when the next trailer might be released and there is a possibility that we will be treated to the next trailer soon.

That being said, Rockstar Games will probably be out of luck, before the enviable second trailer is released it will likely be leaked prematurely, as seen with the infamous trailer GTA VI Leaked months before the official release of the first trailer.

Well, to no one's surprise, GTA VI has apparently fallen victim to another leak. This time it's an obvious screenshot of his gameplay. An image was reportedly shared by the “GTA 6 Countdown” Twitter account, which was later deleted by Rockstar Games' parent company Take-Two Interactive.

Fans speculated that this screenshot could be an unofficial AI-generated image, but the fact that it received a DMCA takedown has led others to believe that it could be a real image .

“This user's post has been copyrighted, but only the image. However, the strange thing is that the image was created by AI. “Could that mean something or not?” asked This_Juggernaut_9901. It seems that this picture was real, but at the same time it is not what many fans were hoping for.

“It was an expanded version of a screenshot from 2022,” Dry-Fault-5557 replied.

Redditor TurboLightGamer69 elaborated further, adding, “It was a concept created using AI by an admin of the main Discord server.” According to the report, the DMCA was issued due to an AI used by TakeTwo called Tracer AI, who probably confused the concept with a leak.”

So there you have it, the screenshot was real, but it was just an enhanced image of what had already been doing the rounds. Hopefully Rockstar Games will soon put us all out of our misery and give us the second one GTA VI Trailer ends before 2024.

At the time of writing this article Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S at the end of 2025. The PC release date is yet to be announced.
