The stabbing incident is under investigation at the Quality Inn in Mishawaka – 95.3 MNC

Mishawaka Police responded to a reported stabbing at the Quality Inn on West University Drive.

Officers were called around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1st.

Investigators searched the hotel and surrounding properties but were unable to locate any victims at the crime scene.

Shortly afterward, a 19-year-old South Bend woman arrived at a local hospital with a stab wound to her back. The hospital contacted authorities and confirmed that the stabbing occurred in a room at the Quality Inn. The victim's injuries are not life-threatening and police believe this was an isolated incident that did not pose a threat to the community.
