Police chase and crash in Wauwatosa; Driver arrested, suspected of OWI

WAUWATOSA, Wis. – One person was arrested by police following a chase and crash on Tuesday evening, October 1st. The pursuit began in Wauwatosa and ended in Milwaukee.

According to police, officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation near 92nd and Glendale shortly before 8 p.m.

The vehicle failed to stop and a chase was initiated. The pursuit ended when the fleeing driver collided with another car near 91st and Silver Spring.

The driver was arrested and is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Minor injuries were reported.
