NYPD seeks suspect in train incident


MANHATTAN, NY – A 28-year-old woman was groped on a northbound 1 train at the 110th Street station Sunday afternoon, according to a police report.

The incident occurred around 3:55 p.m. when an unknown person approached the woman from behind and grabbed her buttocks. The suspect fled the station on foot shortly after the attack.

No injuries were reported following the incident. Police have described the suspect as a slim man with medium skin tone. He was last seen wearing a pink t-shirt, black pants and sneakers.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the case and are asking for any information that could aid in identifying the suspect.

  • A robbery was reported at the Main St.-Flushing station

    FLUSHING, NY - A 24-year-old man was robbed at the Main St.-Flushing train station Thursday evening, according to local authorities.

    The incident occurred around 7:50 p.m. when three unknown people approached the victim. The suspects violently removed two chains from the man's neck before fleeing the scene on foot.

    The victim reported no injuries from the robbery. The suspects remain at large and police are investigating the incident.

  • One man was killed and another injured in a shooting in Harlem

    HARLEM, N.Y. -- One man was killed and another was injured in a shooting early Wednesday in Harlem, police said.

    Officers responded to a 911 call of a man shot at West 160th Street and Amsterdam Avenue around 12:05 p.m. When they arrived, they found an unknown man with a gunshot wound to the chest. EMS transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced dead.

    Authorities later learned that a 25-year-old man had been taken privately to NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the left ankle. He is reportedly in stable condition.

    No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
