Leonardo DiCaprio claims he has been “out of touch” with Sean “Diddy” Combs for years as controversial images resurface

Leonardo DiCaprio said he hasn't had contact with Sean “Diddy” Combs “for years” after an old photo surfaced showing the actor at one of Combs' infamous White Parties. Not only the Titanic star, but also several celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and Mariah Carey, are distancing themselves from the music mogul.

Combs was recently arrested on September 16th on multiple charges including sex trafficking, extortion and sexual assault. While Combs has pleaded not guilty to the charges, he has been denied bail twice and is currently in jail awaiting trial.

The resurfaced photo shows a very young DiCaprio having fun at one of Combs' White parties, which were known for their star-studded guest lists and lavish all-white dress code. These parties were usually held at Combs' East Hampton home and were often attended by the entertainment and music industry elite.

DiCaprio was “No. 1” on Diddy’s invite list

Since DiCaprio became Diddy’s “No. 1 on the invite list,” a source close to the “Wolf of the Wall Street” star has clarified that the actor hasn’t had any contact with Combs “for years.”

“Leonardo DiCaprio has absolutely nothing to do with this,” the source said Daily Mail. “He attended some of his parties in the early 2000s – but literally all of them.”

While DiCaprio has been photographed with Combs several times in the past, including at the Democratic National Convention in 2004 and even attending Combs' 50th birthday party in 2019, the actor's reps dismissed any insinuation that the two were close, back quickly.

“They were big house parties. At this point, Leo was still at the beginning of his career and had long since left the partying behind him. He has nothing to do with this world, so it is ridiculous to assume that he is being dragged into this based on some grainy photos that are more than 20 years old,” the source added.

In a 2017 video interview with Vogue titled “73 Questions with Sean “Diddy” Combs,” Combs called DiCaprio his “first” guest for his upcoming White Party.

However, the source clarified to Daily Mail that DiCaprio's involvement in this world is long in the past. “Leo was at the beginning of his career back then and had long since left partying behind,” they explained.

“Leo is focused on his career and his relationship and is not thinking at all about Diddy's federal case, which he has nothing to do with.”
