Temple, TX | Victim of fatal accident on September 30, 2024 identified

TEMPLE, Texas – Editor's Note: The attached video aired on September 30th.

Temple police identified Robert Groh, 66, of Lorena, and Gustavo Rodriguez, 38, of Belton, as victims of a fatal crash that occurred Monday, Sept. 30.

The accident occurred around 4:15 p.m. that day in the 21000 block of southeast HK Dodgen Loop after police were notified of a two-car head-on collision. One person died in the accident and the other was taken to a hospital but could not survive his injuries and was subsequently pronounced dead.

Temple police are asking anyone with knowledge of the accident to contact them at 254-298-5500 or Bell County Crime Stoppers at 254-526-8477, where callers can report anonymously.
