Kaytranda & Childish Gambino “Witchy” Music Video: Watch

Kaytranada and Childish Gambino prepare for a supernatural experience in their new music video “Witchy,” released on Wednesday (October 2).

The collaborators and RCA labelmates position themselves in an intimate studio while a cast of intriguing characters (and a white cat) – like four ballerinas who magically transform into an incredibly flexible male dancer – accompany them on the other side of the glass put in a trance. Kaytranada and Gambino (aka Donald Glover) turn heads with their synchronized moves and tailored Gucci suits, courtesy of stylist Von Ford.

“Witchy” is from Kaytranada’s third solo studio album Timeless which he published on June 7, 2024. The 21-track album reached No. 28 on the Billboard 200, No. 6 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and No. 2 on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums. He is currently on the Timeless Tour, which ends November 9th at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center.

Glover announced that he was postponing the remaining North American dates of his final tour as Childish Gambino “to spend a few weeks focusing on my physical health,” he wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). The tour was in support of Gambino's fifth and final studio album Bando Stone and the New Worldwhich was released on July 19, 2024. The 17-song set peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
