Sabrina Carpenter slams lip sync rumors

Sabrina Carpenter wants to set the record straight with her live shows.

The 25-year-old pop star who gave her the kick Short and sweet tour late last month, is the latest artist to face lip-syncing allegations.

Recently, according to Pop Base, a TikTok user commented on someone's post asking about their concert experience and whether Carpenter actually sings live.

The user responded with some close-up photos from the concert with the caption: “I hate to say it but 30% lip singing, 30% backing track and 40% vocals.”

Carpenter wasted no time in responding to the rumor.

“I sing 100% live at every show,” the “Espresso” singer wrote. “Would you like to speak to my sound engineers?”

The user then replied, accepting Carpenter's offer: “I would tell them to turn down the backtrack vocal because it's way too high.”

The Girl meets world Alum is no stranger to speaking her mind.

In light of New York City Mayor Eric Adams' indictment that allegedly involved an involvement with Brooklyn priest Jamie Gigantiello, who was demoted at the Church of the Annunciation in November 2023 after Carpenter filmed a risqué music video for her song at the church had “Feather,” the “Nonsense” hitmaker, joined the discourse during her concert on Sunday, September 29 in New York City.

“What should we talk about… how I indicted the mayor?” she quipped from the stage at Madison Square Garden.

Although it is unconfirmed whether the pop star is directly linked to the bombing accusation, Carpenter became upset with the church after filming a horror-inspired picture that featured him Big girl Star goes on a shooting spree at the Monsignor's Williamsburg Church (Carpenter said her team had permission to film).

However, defense attorney Arthur Aidala said this New York Post that Gigantiello “is not the target of any federal, state or city investigation.”

Adams pleaded not guilty in court Sept. 27 to conspiracy to commit wire fraud, federal program bribery, receiving campaign contributions from foreign nationals, bribery, wire fraud and soliciting a donation from a foreign national.
