Former prison staff arrested over suspected smuggling operation

Three people, including two former employees of an Alabama prison, are charged in connection with an alleged smuggling operation. The Alabama Department of Corrections reported that Becca Marsh, a former correctional officer at Limestone Correctional Facility, was arrested after methamphetamine was found in her apartment. The ADOC said Marsh was charged and taken to the Limestone County Jail. Another former Limestone Correctional Facility employee and another person were arrested in Cullman County on Sept. 30, according to a news release. The ADOC reported that a search warrant was executed at the home of James Chambers, a former prison employee, and Sophia Chambers. During this search, police officers discovered meth, marijuana, weapons and ten drones. A news release also states that another former Limestone Correctional Facility employee and another individual were arrested in Cullman County on September 30.
