AEW's top star in no rush to return to the ring – TJR Wrestling

An injured AEW is taking its time getting back in the ring.

Back in August, it was reported that Jay White was getting closer to a return to television. It was revealed that the star attended a Dynamite taping to be examined by AEW's medical team, but at that point he wasn't quite ready to be released.

There were also hopes that White would appear at All In, but the event came and went without him. Still, Switchblade is expected to return soon.

AEW Dynamite celebrates its fifth anniversary on October 2nd and there are rumors that the show would be the perfect place for White to perform again. However, things may not be so clear-cut.

AEW star Juice Robinson gives update on Jay White

In a new interview with ComicBook's Liam Crowley, White's tag team partner Juice Robinson suggested that the star doesn't rush back. But the question remains: Is Robinson just trying to upset fans?

“Jay takes his time. Sometimes in this business you have to take your time and come back better, and that's what he does. So of course we're excited for him to come back because when all four of us are together, we feel like we're as strong as we can be and we could take on all four wrestlers and any combination. We’re definitely excited, like everyone else, to have King Switch back.”

On July 13, Jay White and The Gunns were stripped of the World Trios titles due to an injury to the former NJPW star. The Champions wanted Juice Robinson to fill in for White, but Christopher Daniels blocked the plan.

White has not wrestled since his loss to hangman Adam Page on July 6.
