Warhammer 40k fan Henry Cavill shares his version of Space Marine 2

When he's not busy showing up for a cameo Deadpool and WolverineWell-known nerd Henry Cavill was often seen painting Warhammer 40,000 Miniatures or on his playing PC gaming rig. Recently, the movie star combined both hobbies and sat down to play Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2. His verdict? “This game is the mutt’s game…”

The former DCU star seems to have had a lot of time on his hands lately due to the box office flop The Ministry of Unfriendly Warfare already outside and filming continues In the graya Guy Ritchie flick starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Eiza González that was completed last year. In between smoke large pieces of meatit turns out Cavill is crazy Space Marine 2. He shared his assessment with fans on Instagram earlier this week:

But seriously, they did pretty good, right? I couldn't complete the Angel of Death campaign on my own (or at least didn't have the patience to complete it on my own!), which I love!

I love PvP and am really looking forward to seeing it grow and expand – it has real potential to be absolutely great! Disclaimer: I don't know anything about game development, so the dreams I have might be rather difficult to achieve!

The permit included a photo of his customs Space Marine and a coffee table review of Horus Heresy Book 2, which, as one reader notes, is an outdated set of rules from the earlier version of the so-called Horus Heresy tabletop miniatures game Warhammer 30k. Maybe it's just a light read to further explain his general Warhammer Obsession, or perhaps it's additional preparation for Cavill's rumored participation in an upcoming Amazon adaptation.

Warhammer The creators of Games Workshop and Amazon's entertainment division have been in talks for some time to develop film and TV series based on the dark fantasy games. It seemed so goes well with Cavillwho had provisionally undertaken to follow his example strange separation with the Netflix Witcher series in which he was replaced by for seasons four and five Hunger Games Star Liam Hemsworth. But the two sides apparently faced some disagreements, and so will the deal They are reportedly falling apart if no agreement is reached by the end of 2024.

Given the success of Amazon Stand out TV series, it would be nice to see what could happen with a Warhammer 40K show whether he was given enough talent and money. But even if that never materializes, it sounds like we'll at least get more Space Marine 2 DLC and sequel sometime in the future. Maybe by then Cavill will have finished the current game on Angel of Death difficulty.
