Duncan Police Officer Christopher Barry said he was called to Big Chief Collective, 1208 NUS 81, shortly after 2:30 p.m. Monday and arrived to find Price and two other men in a heated verbal argument. Price was taken into custody because he was uncooperative and the situation continued to escalate, the probable cause affidavit states. He had a cut on his lower lip.

Price said the other two men confronted him about his parking and that they were “very, very aggressive” and one of the men hit him after a confrontation, Barry said. When asked if he hit someone with his vehicle as he exited the parking lot, he said he wasn't sure and “maybe he did,” the affidavit states.

The men said Price was aggressive from the start. According to the affidavit, a man said Price ran over his foot as he tried to leave before getting out of his Dodge Caliber and confronting the other man. He said Price pushed the other man, who retaliated by punching Price in the mouth.

Security video showed Price opening the door to the other vehicle and as one of the men exited the store, he began checking for damage, Barry said. He confronted Price, who backed out of the parking space and ran over the man's left foot before stopping moments later, the affidavit said. According to Barry, the man retaliated by punching the driver's side windshield before falling to his knees in front of the Dodge.

Price got out of the car and the other man got out of the parked vehicle and a verbal confrontation escalated when Price swerved and struck Rodriguez; The man retaliated by punching Price several times and the first man stepped between them, de-escalating the physical altercation, the affidavit said.

Price has posted $25,000 bail and is not allowed to have any contact with the other men. He returns to court at 9 a.m. Dec. 18 for a preliminary hearing conference.
