Former WWE Champion Reacts After 2025 Royal Rumble Snub

A former WWE champion has commented on his latest Royal Rumble 2025 poster.

One of the biggest events of the year, the Royal Rumble, is just a few months away. WWE took a first look at the upcoming Royal Rumble poster today (September 30th). However, the poster lacked the clear presence of former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. His rival CM Punk, who is embroiled in one of the hottest feuds of the moment, made it onto the poster while McIntyre was left out.

The Scottish psychopath noticed his absence and drew attention to the advert on social media. McIntyre and Liv Morgan recently appeared at the Indianapolis Colts vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game on Sunday to promote the 2025 Royal Rumble. Despite his appearance, McIntyre was excluded from the poster.

Shortly after the poster was posted, McIntyre took a look at the Instagram post and left a comment highlighting the ad. He wrote:

Hey, let's send Drew to Indy to promote the Rumble!' “Good call! Should we put him on the poster?' 'N/A.'”

McIntyre has now suffered a similar fate to Bayley earlier this year, where she was regularly excluded from posters despite her status as champion. Despite his hard work promoting the next year's PLE, he decided to continue the promotion with the other stars in the squad.

Since he hasn't been on the path to a world title for some time, his fans now want him back in the championship scenario.

Drew McIntyre explains his plans after his WWE Bad Blood match against CM Punk

After his Hell in a Cell match against CM Punk at Bad Blood, Drew McIntyre has his next plans ready.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated's Rick Ucchino, McIntyre is adamant that nothing can top his current rivalry with CM Punk, although he wants his next feud to be something he can get behind.

In other news, Cody Rhodes has claimed that this top AEW star could be next in the company.
