Video: Milder route until Saturday

I DON'T KNOW. HEY, we have something to discuss. Weather wise. That's a bit of a warm up for when I get here in the next few days. MILD STRETCH ON SATURDAY. IT WILL RUN IN THE 70'S. Our best chance of showers really isn't until after the weekend on Monday and we could use all the rain we can get here and then a shot of slightly cooler temperatures next week. SO MILD RIGHT NOW. BUT AS WE GO MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND INTO THURSDAY WE WILL HAVE A LITTLE COLDER AIR, A LITTLE COOL AIR FROM CANADA THAT WILL BE OVER US FOR A FEW DAYS. So we're talking about the potential to do something next week. We haven't been to BOSTON in a while, and that means our morning lows have dropped below 50 degrees. The last time we did this was May 13th. So that's a stretch of 142 days. AND THAT'S A NEW RECORD. The latest start to the season we have ever been to is October 18th. BUT I THINK WE'RE GOING TO DIVE INTO THE 40S NEXT WEEK WITH A SHOT OF COOL AIR. WE'RE NOW 40°C IN THE SUBURS BUT NOT IN BOSTON, AT 55°C, AS COOL AS 42°C IN THE VINEYARD WHERE A LITTLE FLEXIBLE FOG lingers. Otherwise, cloud cover will take you to WORCESTER COUNTY, SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE. We're seeing a little bit of that, and I expect it to subside once the sun comes up. THIS MORNING. So it should be a mostly sunny day with controlled high pressure. This high will bring us nice weather today into tomorrow. AS OF 10 AM YOU CAN SEE THAT WE ARE IN THE LOW 60S AND UPPER 60S AT NOON. AND WITH THE SOUTH EASTERN WIND TODAY THAT WILL ALLOW US TO PULL INTO THE LOW 70S FROM CAPE COD, MAKE IT ABOUT 75 AND NORWOOD MILD. Keep in mind that the average temperature this time of year is currently 60°. So it's an above average daytime temperature, so there's a lot of sun this afternoon. Some clouds will build in overnight. A FLEETING FOG COULD ALSO DEVELOP. Our temperatures will be in the 40s to 50s downtown this evening. TOMORROW LOOKS GOOD FOR YOUR FRIDAY. Partly sunny, we'll call it, with a few clouds in the afternoon, but mild. Again, temperatures near Cape Cod tomorrow will be in the low to mid 70s. AND WE WILL SEE THIS FRONT HERE IN THE WEST. COME BY ON SATURDAY MORNING. BUT IT REALLY LIKES HUMIDITY SO I WOULDN'T EXPECT MUCH MORE THAN A SHORT SHOWER. NEAR AND NORTH OF THE PIKE. There probably won't be anything to see in the southeasternmost part of Massachusetts. THEN IT'S SUNSHINE AGAIN ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON. STILL IN THE LOW 70S ON SATURDAY. COOLER BUT BRIGHT, SUNNY AND BEAUTIFUL ON SUNDAY. So we're looking forward to a really nice weekend here. AND THEN WE COME TO MONDAY. And this is our chance to get some rain while the next front slows down a bit. So it could be a little wet on Monday, and then behind that front is that shot of cooler air, below 60 degrees, barely Tuesday into Wednesday. AND THERE WILL BE TOMORROW LOW TEMPERATURES IN THE 40S, ALSO IN BOSTON
