World Cup 2024 in Switzerland: schedule, results, where to watch

The Swiss stage of the 2024 World Cup will see the best teams from around the world clash in a series of best-of-one matches to determine who advances to the knockout stages.

The Swiss format is a tournament system in which participants are divided into pairs based on their current win-loss record. It aims to ensure that teams with similar records compete against each other, resulting in more competitive and balanced games throughout the tournament.

Starting from the second round, teams are paired based on their win-loss record from the previous rounds. Teams with similar records play against each other.

The top teams with three wins based on their win-loss record will qualify for the knockout stages in the single-elimination tournament of the 2024 World Cup.
