Sixteen years later, Howard County police are searching for answers in the murder case

Howard County police are still searching for answers about the murder of a man 16 years ago.

Tamba Karmor Nyorkor was 26 years old when he was shot dead in his apartment.

A woman called police to the 9700 block of Clocktower Lane in Columbia on the evening of October 8, 2008 around 7:30 p.m.

She told law enforcement there was a man in the apartment who looked injured or dead.

When paramedics and police arrived at the Clocktower Lane apartment they found Nyorkor dead, but his two toddler children were unharmed.

Police actually arrested a man once in connection with this case, but the charges were dropped.

If anyone has information about Tamba Nyorkor, police ask that they call Howard County Police at 410-313-STOP or email [email protected]. In Howard County, the reward for information in each unsolved case is up to $30,000.
