Ajmer SP Vandita Rana told the media on Thursday that the three accused for whom Ajmer Range IG Omprakash had announced a reward of Rs 50,000 each were Rajveer Singh Jat, 38, a resident of Gandhi Nagar in Kishangarh; Pukhraj Jat, 22, and Naresh Jat, 30, both residents of Bandrasindri village. The other arrested accused are Vikas Jat (28) from Roopangarh, Deependra Jat (20) from Dudu, Vijendra Jat (20) from Kishangarh and Ramniwas Jat (20) from Roopangarh. The district police had arrested three accused the day after the incident and another ten were arrested on September 27.
The incident had shocked the people of Roopangarh city as open firing and fighting broke out in the main market. Police appealed to the public not to follow the criminals on social media and warned of action against such followers. The police had also warned those who harbored the accused in the case.
