TikTok personality “Mr. Officials say Prada is charged with the murder of a Baton Rouge therapist

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A viral “TikTok personality” is facing murder charges after East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office deputies found evidence suggesting a crime in connection with a case involving a murdered Baton Rouge therapist.

According to EBRSO, 20-year-old Terryon Thomas is currently in custody in Dallas, Texas. Thomas is now charged with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice.

Police said Thomas was a popular “TikTok personality” known as “Mr. Prada.”

The victim, William Nicholas Abraham, 69, was violently attacked and his body was wrapped in a tarp and dumped next to a highway in Tangipahoa Parish, where he was discovered Sunday morning, Sept. 29, Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Gerald Sticker said .

According to an arrest report, homicide detectives executing a search warrant at Mr. Prada's apartment on Mancuso Lane in Baton Rouge discovered evidence indicating that “a violent physical altercation” had taken place at the apartment.

Police added that a significant amount of blood was found throughout the apartment, as well as several sharp objects and other weapons. Jail records indicate additional evidence suggests an attempt was made to destroy evidence by cleaning up the crime scene.

Video surveillance footage showed Abraham arriving at the apartment complex where Mr. Prada lived around 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, the affidavit said. Investigators said the victim in the surveillance footage was wearing the same clothing as when he was found dead and wrapped in the tarp.

The arrest report goes on to say that witnesses allegedly saw Mr. Prada carrying an object wrapped in a blue tarp a few hours after the victim was last seen alive on Sept. 28.

Authorities said witnesses reported that Mr. Prada appeared to have difficulty dragging the blue tarp down the stairs. He was also reportedly seen loading the tarp into the victim's vehicle.

Crime scene investigators collected DNA swabs of the blood at the scene, which were forwarded to the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab for analysis.

On October 2, authorities received confirmation that the DNA at the crime scene matched the victim's DNA.

The suspect's relationship with the victim and the motive for the murder are still under investigation. There is currently no evidence that Thomas was a customer of Abraham's.

This incident is currently under investigation and further updates will be provided as they become available for publication.

Thomas will be extradited to East Baton Rouge Parish for trial at a later date.

Officials say Terryon “Mr.Prada” Thomas is now charged with murder in the case of the slain Baton Rouge therapist.
