Lucas Colya rapper and social media star, has died, NBC News confirmed. He was 27 years old. Coly's manager, whose social media handle is “I Discover Stars,” announced on Thursday, October 3, that the “I Just Wanna” artist was dead. The music artist's cause of death has not been publicly revealed. A day earlier, fans noticed that Coly shared a message via his Instagram Stories that read, “I love you all” with a heart emoji on a black background.

“Being her manager was one of the reasons I stayed here,” Coly’s manager wrote via Instagram. “There's a hole in my heart right now, Lucas. We constantly talked about our problems but smiled for the fans. So many people hurt us over and over again, but we had each other.”

The manager further noted that he “doesn't know what to do now,” adding that he feels “broken,” along with the hashtags “#riplucascoly” and “#checkonyourfriends.”

“Honestly, Lucas, it hasn’t started yet because I refuse to believe you’re gone,” the manager concluded. “Heart torn into pieces. God send him back here. Please.”

In a separate post on Facebook, Coly's manager mentioned the “Act Right” artist's girlfriend, Amber, and encouraged fans to “pray” for her.

“I'm not feeling well. Pray for Amber,” he wrote. “And for those wondering how I know if it’s true…” 1) I was his long-time manager and 2) because I had recently spoken to him on the phone. He loved all his fans. 2024 was the worst year of my life. Lucas was more of a brother to me than my client. Amber will confirm the news when she is ready. Please give her time to process and heal. As soon as the funeral arrangements are finalized, I will publish them here.”
