What to know about the Pacific Air Show in Huntington Beach – NBC Los Angeles

In the skies over Southern California this weekend is the Pacific Air Show, the largest attended air show in the United States.

The event will take place Friday, October 4th through Sunday, October 6th on the waterfront of Huntington Beach.

The sky is the limit when it comes to performances by the esteemed US Air Force Thunderbirds, Para-Commandos, a parachute demonstration team, several civilian aviators and dozens of other performers.

The world's most advanced fighter aircraft, the F-22 Raptor, will also fly.

The event will take to the skies at 10:00 am. Gates to the event will open at 9:00 a.m. However, spectators are asked to arrive at the Show Center early as parking spaces are limited.

Tickets start at $30 for a single day and $60 for a three-day pass. You can buy tickets for the Pacific Air Show here.

The airshow encourages general admission ticket holders to bring chairs, blankets and an umbrella.
